I love this mat! It has a very thick, high quality feel without being too heavy. Feels much nicer than a plastic or rubber mat. I've only been using it for light stretching on carpet, but I haven't had any issues with slipping. And it arrived quickly, no shipping issues. Would def purchase another one!

It doesn’t hold you in place like many yoga mats you can get, made of rubber-plastic or some other material. This rug you can reuse in another manner as a rug, or recycle at the end at a place such as with a Take Back Bag at Fordays.com
This mat is nice in that I believe it can help you build strength but some poses and exercises may be more difficult. If you’re considering it, it is a nice yoga or exercise mat.

It's beautiful! Great texture for holding poses. Feels sturdy but still thin enough to throw in the washer and fold to put into a bag.
Happy to have an organic cotton option. Bought for my husband as his first yoga mat. He loves the large size and gorgeous blue color. It is a bit slick and doesn’t stay perfectly in place (we practice on carpet/rug; also the mat does not have the optional grip backing). It is a little thin as well so he usually puts a regular mat underneath it to create more support. Shipping was fast and price was good 😊
Beautiful yoga mat, gets softer with use. A bit thin as some other reviewer have mentioned, so great if you want to use on carpet. Slides a bit on hardwood floors though I still manage to use it. Still, a great environmentally friendly and healthy alternative to regular yoga mats. When I buy something, I think about how I'm going to dispose of it at the end of its useful life. This one could easily be recycled with other textiles, whereas a rubber yoga mat would likely go into the landfill. Seller shipped fast.
