When you type Organic into search, this is one of several products I've ordered, which were labeled 100% cotton, when I recieved them. Karen from OCM emailed me: they're not certified organic, even though cotton is grown organically. She said it's too expensive to get certification. Just wanting to let folks know, in case they're gifting to people who they might feel awkward explaining that it's organic, & just not labeled as such. The bag is very sturdy & will likely last a very long time. The purple accents are vibrant & pretty, just like pictured. Purchased because of generous size, long handles & because it can be zipped closed, which gives peace of mind if it topples over in hatch, that all inside will stay put! The zipper pull looks metal, but zipper itself appears to be plastic. Also, there wasn't any chemical smell, like some organic cotton bags can have.

This is a sturdy, well-made, clean-looking bag. I love that it zips shut. I ordered it as a gift because I'm so happy with the one I bought for myself a few months ago. Shipping was amazingly quick. I wish this bag came in a smaller size, too, for the times I just want to carry a laptop and some smaller items.
